69 Maroon Interior
As the title says, this all came out of a junker truck, and I haven't tried to clean anything. It's exactly as pulled. First "I'll take it" gets it. If you need any more pics, just ask, but I won't be able to respond until the afternoons. You can see the driver's side visor has some loose stitching
I guess I'm piecing this stuff out Door Panels -make an offer Sun Visors with clips $80 shipped Seat Belts $40 shipped Arm Rests - sold Escutcheons - sold Dashpad - sold Seat Cover - make offer, it's pretty roached out... Last edited by Leonard1; 06-10-2019 at 08:25 PM. |

Re: 69 Maroon Interior
The door panels have a couple of spots that are rusted through, and one spot on the lower corner of the driver's side where the drill got away from me. If you don't want them, I will try to remove the escutions.

Re: 69 Maroon Interior
I don't see any tears, or dry rotted spots on the armrests, but there are a couple of saw marks on the back sides where the screw heads stripped out on me...

Re: 69 Maroon Interior
The center seatbelts are pretty faded, but the covers look pretty good. I can't get the passenger side to pull out to see how the belt looks, and you get the part of the floorpan that came out with it!

Re: 69 Maroon Interior
The dash pad is the best part of the whole lot, I don't see any tears, rips, or separation. There is one spot that I took a close up of, it looks like a piece of tape stuck to it, but I didn't take the time to try to remove it. Like I said, the seat cover is pretty roached out, but if the buyer wants it, I'll remove the hogrings and try to fold it. I'm afraid it will crack all over the place when I do that, though.

Re: 69 Maroon Interior
Dunno if the rearview mirror is still on there but it also has the same color on that rubber cover at the base where the mirror mounts to the cab.

Re: 69 Maroon Interior
Rare one year color. Hard to find so much in one place. Only need 4 escutcheons to finish my interior. Keep me in mind, if you do separate. Good luck with your sale. Bruce
Just curious, are the crank knobs black or maroon? Last edited by BLT gmc; 05-06-2019 at 07:00 AM. |

Re: 69 Maroon Interior
CG: The rearview mirror appears to have been swapped at some point, looks like a '67 with the night glare option. I will post a pic this evening, but the arm is broken off. The head was under the seat.
BLT: The knobs are black. |

Re: 69 Maroon Interior
Just curious if anyone would know if this is the same color of dash pad that would have come with a red interior? It looks just like the one I had in my 67 that was red but hard to tell with all the dust. Good luck with your sale.

I believe this is a one year only color, 69 maroon. I think the 67 and 68 had different red colors. |

Yep, I'd part with it, but I don't have any idea if it works or not. There's no battery cables on the truck! I'll try to pull it this weekend and see what it will do, but no promises. |

Gary: Finally got the 8-track pulled, and it does not work. I haven't had time to play with it to see if it's a fuse.

Re: 69 Maroon Interior
Maroon escutcheons come up on the board from time to time. I found a pair on eBay a couple years ago that we're really nice. The plastic they are made of is different from nos black ones. Removal from the door panels can be tricky. Usually they just disintegrate.
NOS maroon escutcheons are the last item I need. BLT the matching maroon window cranks came out of impalas or buicks. Same crank different knob. Also 67 knobs sometimes fade to maroon. There are also maroon lock pulls from passenger cars as well. This is a pretty good set all in one place. I need another steering wheel like I need a hole in the head but if you decide to sell it post up pics and a price. I'm interested in the wheel, innards and button. Ttfn Posted via Mobile Device |
