Got a cab

I'd been looking for a cab for my truck since I bought it in the spring. Well, one turned up about 10 minutes from me. I went and picked it up last Friday. I also scored a bunch of other parts with it. All rust free and in primer.

Here's my question. How long can I leave these parts sitting around in primer? I don't really have a place to work on it all right now. So, it is sitting in my dad's shop. Also, anybody know a good body work guy in the Nashville area?

If they are out of the rain, they will sit just fine for a good amount of time.

Re: Got a cab

Well, dad's shop is not climate controlled so sometimes things will sweat in there. I maybe should have mentioned that.

Re: Got a cab

As long as it's not bare metal it should last for a long time. It sounds wierd but I bet you could wrap the cab up with something if you were that concerned to keep moisture off of it.

Re: Got a cab

I'm going to try and cover it with something. I just don't want it to sweat in between.
