Re: EMBLEMS!!! (pics)

Looking good! I've been trying to find every possible GMC fender badge...the ones that only differ in the plaque below "GMC". I saw a Sprint one at an antique truck show swap meet, but felt they wanted too much and passed. Every time I thought about it,it disappointed me that I didn't just get it anyway. Then,I was looking through my parts pictures for the thread that's running and saw a Jimmy badge. It turns out I already had one! Now,to get a 9500 Diesel...

Re: EMBLEMS!!! (pics)

Eric, that's ok,it turns out I do have one. The one I had a picture of. I went out and found it after I saw the picture in my parts pic file. I'm addicted to those GMC ones because of so many variations, yet all on the same badge. They go from Sprints (GMC's El Camino) and Jimmys to big rigs. I have a pair of N.O.S. plain 3500s and another mint pair of 3500 Custom Campers. I've never seen either on any truck. The Sprints were cool because they came with a third badge on the tailgate

Eric, you need the rare 67 GMC ones. One says Magnum V6 and of course the "custom" one i always whine about. Did I see a Camper cruiser on the board?

Jud, the camper cruiser is under the 67-68 custom camper towards the bottom left. When you get an extra "custom" one, let me know...

Eric, I went out and looked and I do have them marked as being '66 big truck. I think all the parts in that picture are from the same truck.

My parents constuction company had an old 1966 Chevrolet series 70 digger derrick originally ordered with a GMC v6 by Nebraska Public Power District and it had a passenger door lock delete maybe it was cheap so to keep the publics power bill down? lol

Re: EMBLEMS!!! (pics)

I'm jealous of the big GMC emblems. I have passed up so many over the years because I was focused on what I "thought" I "needed". Turns out,I "needed" them all!!!

Here's a picture of the N.O.S. blank 3500s (base model/standard I6):
