'99 2wd Tahoe - rear grease seals

Do I have to remove the axles to get to the seals from the flange ends or do I have to drop the cover and undo them from the carrier in the differential?

Also, I'm wondering what the spindle nut size is on the front rotors for getting to the wheel bearings. 30mm or 36mm?

Thought so - I'll probably skip doing this for now since I'm not seeing any signs of oil leak. I don't want to drop the pan right now...

The front axle nuts take a 36mm socket.

Wonderful - thanks. Since we're down to one vehicle now it would be nice to know in advance what to expect when I go to pack the bearings.
