Exclamation need help please! front clip swap 67 to 72

ok let see if someone here can help me before I take a pick axe to my truck, I have a 67 lwb frame, 68 cab, and im putting a 71-72 front clip on it, the front of my inner fenders are too far forward for me to bolt them to the bottom of the rad support, and there is a gap where the fender bolts to the rad support just below the headlight

I measured front and back of the cab on both sides from the frame to the rocker and the measurements are the same, as well as from the back of the cab to the rear cab supports and everything is good, all the bolts on the fenders, inner fenders, and rad support are loose and no matter what what way I move things it doesn't help, am I missing something here? or are the body mounts for the rad support mounted on the frame in a different location in 67 vs 71-72

Is the radiator support a 1969 - 1972?

My understanding is that you'll need to do a complete front clip swap. Then everything should line up. The core support is different in the '67-'68 from the '69-'72.
Good luck.

It's likely your core support bushings. The 67-68 ones are different from the later ones.I don't remember the particulars but one style is taller than the other. The difference is made up in the core support.

IIRC you need the bushings to match the front clip and the core support has to match the clip also.

I have the entire 71-72 front clip and correct bushings, I measured the mounts for the rad support on my 69 swb frame and they appear to be an inch or half an inch farther ahead than the ones on my 67 frame
