Unbelievable 2008 chevy pickup

I took these pics this afternoon after a freind told me about what this guy did to this wonderful 2008 silverado 2500, it is painted with bed liner material everything! The guys is a complete idiot, he ruined the truck . New price on truck is $37,350.00 , he is asking $28,500.00. What do you guys think? Am i wrong?

Re: Unbelievable 2008 chevy pickup

wow.... ummm.... i like how he paid 40,000 for that truck, then spent probably another 2,000 on rhino lining the whole truck, then slapped about a 100 dollar camper on there from about 1985, that ISNT rhino lined. bahahaha. he's cool..

Re: Unbelievable 2008 chevy pickup

good GOD, whatever you do, just get that camper off of there!! Truck might not look so bad with some better wheels and an aggresive set of tires, and oh yeah - TAKE THAT CAMPER OFF!!!

You gonna buy that beast or what? At least you won't have to worry about scratching your new truck!

Re: Unbelievable 2008 chevy pickup

Wow. I would hate myself if I made that mistake. Is there anyway to get that stuff off. I would tell him to drop the price even more to pay for the removal of that crap and the body work and a new paintjob.

Re: Unbelievable 2008 chevy pickup

Makes you wonder if the truck has been wrecked or damaged, then slapped some parts on and covered it up.
Either way it is something nasty.

Hey, now he solved the problem. Lifetime rust, dent, and scratch prevention. All he has to do is keep running forever.

Re: Unbelievable 2008 chevy pickup

Amazingly dumbass maneuver if you ask me. I saw one yesterday coming back from Longview to Terrell. It was a Lexus SUV with a huge metal bumper like on a one-ton truck, towing a couple of 4 wheelers headed for the deer lease. Damn thing looked just like that except the guy had done the work himself....and you could tell it.

If he sells it, it'll be a flat miracle.

As Bugs would say.....'what a maroon'!!!

Re: Unbelievable 2008 chevy pickup

I thought that was rattle canned flat black paint. It looks like a 30 year old truck that was rode hard and always hung up wet.

In order for him to sell that, he would have to get quote on a paint job that is equal to factory quality, plus the cost of removing the liner. He would then have to subtract that plus a couple thousand more for all the trouble from the blue book value and he would have a fair selling price for the truck.

Re: Unbelievable 2008 chevy pickup

Prolly got tired of getting razzed by all his buddies on how ugly that GMT900 Silverado is so he decided to camouflage it with flat black bed liner to hide the poorly shaped body lines. The $100 camper is just a decoy to help disguise the mess even more. Look at it this way, at least he more than doubled the thinkness of the body panals.

Re: Unbelievable 2008 chevy pickup

it serves the purpose and got rid of the big ass chrome bumper, that thing (the bumper on new trucks) is retarded.
