NOS* '69 Chevy Cab

NOS* '69 Chevy Cab FS

The cab is FINALLY off... and now needs a new home. It's got plenty of rust in all the right places. But if you want to come get it, make me an offer I can't refuse (beer, pretzels, beer & pretzels, a back massage, a pedicure, or??)

For finely detailed pics of this specimen, refer to the 100x64 pixel postage stamp by my name. WYSIWYG (the cab, that is). No cowl cover, no doors, no back glass, no innards. You DO get the duct tape, dust, front windshield, booster and master cylinder, and whatever else is currently attached.

PM if interested. First come, first served. FOB my driveway.

I saw an ad for an actual NOS '72 cab (back in the 80's). They were asking $3500. I think it was the Hen's only tooth.

I may have a buyer for the booster, master cylinder, and prop valve. The rest of the cab is still available. As soon as the wife starts whining (what am I saying? She's always whining about something )... soon... I'll have to take the Sawzall to it and throw it away in pieces. Don't let me do this. Come get the cab.

My trigger finger is starting to get antsy. Somebody come save this cab before I "get rid of it" in my own special way...

At 171 miles from me, you're practically down the street ;-) Come on over and get the whole cab, and you'll have all the specific pieces you want. If I end up cutting the cab into pieces, I'll try to accommodate special requests. Give me a picture of what you are looking for.

I harvested my first piece of material out of the cab last weekend... it was a rather innocuous bit of the flat area under the center of the seat. This weekend I'm probably going to start chopping in earnest, so give me some instructions on what piece not to destroy. Maybe a picture with the area circled?

If you do not get what you need here, I may have one I can cut for you. I have a 69 stepside off the frame, top was rusted out. I bought the truck for the frame.

Sorry for the Hijack

Yup.

Very nice non-hacked dash is now sitting on a shelf (I cut it at the window pinch and unbolted the sides so it's complete-- even has glove box door, ash tray, and ignition switch ). On the floor next to the cab is the entire firewall that I decided to chop off to get rid of some pent up anger. It was fun!

If anyone wants a piece, now's the time to call out the location. I'm on vacation next week (vacation? what's that???) so I predict it will be in quite smaller pieces very soon.

I'm afraid I need a LOT more clarification. The dimensions don't really help me as I don't know where to start any measurement. Can you use MS Paint or something to draw a circle around the area you want?
