Looking for trim pieces

Where is the best place to find the chrome and wood side trim pieces for 69 custom deluxe. Thanks also for the info about 73 spindals on 69 fram.

LMC sells them.I am sure vendors here do too.Pretty sure Year One also has them.They arent cheap though

Yeah I know allready checked lmc was just hoping to find them a little cheeper.Thanks for the info

About two years ago, I purchased the upper back trim pieces from dealer, set me back $80.00 a piece, not sure if you can still obtain from dealer, I also bought the outer (chrome) grille frome dealer , took me about three before I was happy with it, but when you pay dealer prices , by god you want it flaw free. I am not sure you can still get any of those pieces, I was surprised than I could, I would always check with dealer and have them do a search first.
I always recomend oem before aftermarket, but sometimes you are stuck with only that option, I had to replace some of my lower trim pieces also, I used LMC on about $300 worth of woodgrain lower pieces , I also bought the roll of wood grain tape , just incase later on I wanted to resticker them for any reason, I am not very happy with the woodgrain sticker that LMC used on the trim, after about two years , the sticker started to lift, ok, no problem , I said, I got the tape, I got it out and started to replace it, and low and behold , its too narrow and doesnt match up correctly, it exposes to much metal and doesnt line up with the rest of the stuff that isnt replaced, so if you are going to use the tape, you better plan on replacing it all, and as far as the trim pieces go, I dont know if someone uses a better sticker woodgrain that holds up any better, I only used LMC. good luck.

FYI:CustomDeluxes came out in`71 and only Highlanders had wood grain.In 69/70 a Custom was the equivelent to a CustomDeluxe.You can do what ever you want,though.
