Sway bar or not with air ride?

This question is for you guys with air ride. Particularly the 67-72 crowd. Do you guys get rid of or still use the front sway bar with your air ride on the front end? Thanks!!

Re: Sway bar or not with air ride?

A sway bar never hurts whether bagged or static dropped. I would definitely run one if you only have front/back and not four way to help with air transfer.

Re: Sway bar or not with air ride?

Heavy front ends w/o optimum geometry are a good place for a swaybar.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

my brother doesnt have one, its fine. No roadrace car, but it drives just perfect and handles anything it will encounter on the road.

Re: Sway bar or not with air ride?

Kewl, thanks guys. I have a 72 GMC without a front sway bar. I am currently installing one, as soon as I get the right bushings tomorrow. The truck never had a sway bar on it, and it turns pretty good. I am planning on installing air ride on the truck in a year or two, and didn't want to have to remove it for the air ride.
