Build sheet location in a 71?

Where should the build sheet be located in a 71 swb?

They are usually found under the carpet/floormat, or taped to the gas tank.

My 71 had it under the front seat or in the back of the seat under the springs.

Be advised that the build sheet was supposed to be thrown away. If you are fortunate enough to find one it is because someone was being lazy and built the truck up around it.

They were to be thrown away, but a lot of them were just haphazzard tossed into the floorboard I think[I have no foundation other than so many being found in the floor] under the mat including mine. Jim

Fremont built trucks (Z in vin) often had them. It seems most other build locations didn't leave them in the trucks. ALso look up under the seat and on the seat back, sometimes they are between springs and foam cushion.

Almost every Fremont truck I have come across has had one, sometimes two. They are usually pretty trashed, but some can be in decent shape.
