How many of our trucks have you seen today?

I was riding with a friend so I had a chance to look around. We saw 3 on the streets and 4 in peoples yards...

I know where at least 4 sit at any given time. The first one we saw today was sweet looking. 72 straight body looked like it could of been original paint. It did have the dealer name plate from a dealer that hasen't been in town for quite some time...

today i saw just one (mine), but it depends on where I am going and what time of day it is. there arent too many around here at all. i have found a '71 GMC K/2500 in the town where I work, a 67-68 2wd 'burb buried in some weeds on a back road of the same town, a 67 shorty (rusted bad) close by my house, a rust free texas '72 GMC C/1500 longstep, and a 67-68 K/20 that is by a junkyard, but its only there at night thats about all I have seen in my almost a year of owning my truck

I see maybe one every couple of weeks... Usually rusted beyond reconition too... Only ever seen three up close, one was a nice towtruck, one was a truck that could have been mine for 800 bucks, and one that is in immaculate condition (full frame off last year)

Other than mine I know of 1 other pickup in my town a 67 or 68, and a 71 or 72 blazer sitting in somebodies front yard which I have dibs on if the owner decides to sell.

These types are very rare in the northeast.

Oh yeah, and an occasional one on my junkyard trips.

I echo the "there everywhere". I'm picky now, and only notice the rear nice ones or heavily optioned ones.

I see probably 20 to 30 every time I drive to work and back. These are drivers, not parked somewhere. They're very common here.

I'm jealous of you west coasters. I'm thinking of flying out to San Diego later this year and I swear I'm driving back.

I see about "0" other than my own. If I drive for about 30 miles, Ill find another nut like us. Most people around here have more money than brains, so they buy new. Thats fine though, makes my truck more of a rarity.

CPNEJR, after living two years in Manchester NH (having left California) you may understand why I couldn't wait to move back!

I see about 10-15 any given day when I'm not paying attention, probably 10 of those on the road. On days when I am looking for them, I'll easily find 20+.
