Cross year compatability

This may have been addressed somewhere in the past, but im at work and cant do alot of searching.

1. will leaf springs from 88 up fit on an 87? And will long wheel base springs cross over to short wheel base? I am not sure on the length just made a quik trip to the pick and pull during lunch.

2. Will 88 and up TBI wiring harness and PROM work on an 87? Specifically a harness from an 88 connecting to the firewall connector of the 87?

Thanks

Re: Cross year compatability

1. No the 88-98 leafs will not bolt up to a 73-87.
88-98s are 63" long.
1/2 ton 73-87s are 52" long (short bed or long)
3/4 and 1 ton 73-87s are 56" long.
There are instances where these springs will be different (BIG 10/Heavy Half ect.)
