New Window Regulator w / framed glass (1960)
Hey All,
I've been fighting a replacement window regulator replacement on my 1960 c10 with the framed glass window - I've tried to search Youtube and the internet, but it seems like most people are dealing with the frame less glass. The window / regulator kind of fell apart in my hands, so i'm having a hard time working out the correct order of operations to get this back together and functioning. I got the vent window out and I got the window out and I got the regulator (with the clutch heads out) and now I am having a hard time with re-assembly. I can get the regulator in, and the idler(?) lined up, in on the channel on the door, and one of the rollers on the window channel, but I can't get to the point where I can get both rollers in parallel. Are there any tricks or tips to get this back together - I have the green shop manual, but Im not really seeing an order of operations for what I am fighting. Thanks, Keith

Re: New Window Regulator w / framed glass (1960)
Thank you, that's certainly the best video I've seen so far ...
"don't put this little piece in right now " "I'm planning ahead" that may have been my problem - I found that in the bottom of the door and I did put it back in while attempting to mess with the door. and im missing the channel on the latch side of the door it looks like

Re: New Window Regulator w / framed glass (1960)
Just wanting to update this if anybody else is looking -
I think I am still missing some pieces, but installing the regulator in the door, and then installing the lower mount on the regulator, and then attaching the glass, ( the way Skinny G shows above ) was way easier then anything else, and I got it back together in about 5 minutes
