Still have that one? I still think it's a really cool truck.

I guess I never posted my '91 here.

Over 200K on the original 4.3 and 5 speed with original clutch, still runs great. Was originally the uplevel model with all the chrome trim, but added the black grill, painted bumper, fog lights, flares, power mirrors, etc. Also installed the interior from a '92 Sonoma GT, along with the gauge cluster. Also the thicker front sway bar and added a rear. Just by looking at it, most people would think it's just a regular old rusty S-10

Near future plans include a Z28 steering box, lower 3 inches and change the dash to gray (still has the original blue one).

Long term includes drop in a TBI 350, and replace most every body panel and paint it charcoal (same as wheels).

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II

I bought this 2000 base model right after I started Tailgate magazine, The only option is has is A/C. KRZ box-notched the frame in '01 and it has 4/6 drop with Belltech spindles and springs with a big 'ol front sway bar. I had Venom nitros for a while, it dynoed at double the stock horsepower.

The truck only has 65,000 miles on it. After I quit Tailgate I parked it for 5-years.

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II

Hey everyone, this is my 1985 S15 4X4, 2.5lt 4sp. I picked it up recently to use as my weekend "Home Depot" runner and to pull a little utility trailer that I have from time to time.

It needs a little TLC, a spare tire and a door key, over all I think its going to work out just great for what I need. I'd like to replace the bench seat some day and add something with head rest, just to keep my head from banging on the rear glass

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II

If i could find some mirrors other than the stockers that look good i'd do it that way. Had these on an 88 s-10 and looked ok, just hate the factory ones, lol

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II

Some nice trucks in here!

Mine's a simple DD that I've done a little bit too. So far just some 2" spindles up front, added a tach dash, CAI kit, electric fan, and 56mm throttle body. Woke it up a little bit. It's a 2.2L 5spd.

Very nice man, you are going to like the 5.3L fuel injected engine in a light S10 body. It's a lot of work but then again its cool to say that you built it. I have 15k miles on my LSx S10 and its a blast to drive, plus it gets 20 mpg.

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II

Heres mine...
2000 Zr2 Blazer, 1 1/2" torsion bar crank in the front, 2" shackles in the back with add-a-leafs, Eagle Alloy 146's, BFG Mud-Terrains, Rock sliders, Airaid filter in a cut up stock airbox, Highflow cat, 3" exhaust from the cat back with a Hooker Maxflow muffler, Tinted windows, ventvisors, Grill guard with 2 100watt lights. I think that pretty much covers it. Dana44 is going under the front of it later this year and it will be on 35's.

Heres a old picture with the Powdercoated American racing outlawII's and my old brush guard

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II

Here's my 87 Jimmy. Currently has a blown head gasket in the stock 2.8. Haven't decided yet what I'm going to do with it, 350? SFA? Part it out? Donate it to charity.....
Bought an 89 Suburban to get the motor and stuff from but being complete the wife convinced me to fix it instead of parting it for the Jimmy.

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II

even tho i posted it in my own thread ill repost here this is my heap of parts its a 2000 with the four cylinder automatic and 2 wd
so far since i picked it up ive found the interior parts it was missing (jack and jack stow cover) the right mirror was put together after breaking so you cant move it and I have the replacement mirror and i ordered the seats at the junkyard as the ones i got in there were most likely sat on by a hippopotamus.
Hopefully it will warm up enough that i can actually do something with it this week
