Left arm on the window sill (when it's warm) and on the '72 arm rest when it's cold. Right hand steers.

or....

Left hand steers, right hand rests on the Lokar shifter.

What I'm really looking for is something to pull the door shut / rest my arm on when it's cold outside (I don't like the stock arm rests)

Cuz like the most of you, I hang my arm out the window when its rolled down lol

I don't have a pic right now, but my 67 has what appears to be 66 arm rests installed. Like you, I'm not too fond of the "standard" ones installed in most of our trucks. I do like the ones in my truck, though.

No Armrests or Door panels on the '67, so I'm a switch-hitter at the wheel, depending on whether I'm takin' a tug of Coffee/Soda in the jankity cupholder dooey-bob on the hump or takin' a drag off the ole cancer-stick. If and when it ever stops snowing / raining around here (sometime in June, I'm told), I'll be hangin' the left gun out the window for sure.

A lot of 67's came with those. They were a carry over from the previous body style like the vent vindow locks, floor vent pulls, etc that only 67's had.

I was going to post something funny on this thread... as I have only one arm (lost left arm when I was 5 yrs old)...

to answer your question.... (this is serious too)
While on the highway or any mostly straight roadway, I steer with my left leg and rest my right arm/hand on the seat next to me.... that one arm gets tired on long trips without another arm to switch to...
