1960 short stepper wood brace??

Finally getting progress on my 60. Roller Cab is at the paint shop. Working on the truck bed as we speak. Truck bed always had a medal plate covering the wood since I've had it and I finally removed it to strip all the wood and get the cross sills prepped. I need you guys and gals help. I found a bracket laying inside the bottom of the left bed side (front side). The front corner where my spare tire would mount on the fender. Right side bed panel doesn't have one. Does it lay inside for the wood to bolt on too? My wood is all torn up and pieces missing so I cant identify which way it attaches. I provide pictures for your viewing. Thanx. Larry.

You’re welcome DB; the answer is No on the passenger-side.
