05 hood on 06
is the 05 hood a direct bolt on for the 06? i like the "cowl" look of the 06, but they should have tapered it down in front like the 05. i was wondering if the 05 would fit my 06???

i have not tried it but i just looked up part numbers for c1500 and this is what i got
05 hood 88944302 hinge 12472769,12472770 latch 15123689 06 hood 12477524 hinge 12472769,12472770 latch 15123689 so i think it will fit if you want me to check more parts and compair let me know i can even get vin# spec if you like

thanks man. looks like since the hinges and latch are the same, it should work. i'm assuming the fenders are the same so the the lines should be right and everything. thanks for the info!

I don't think that is going to be the easy part. I would imagine there is someone wanting do do just the opposite swap, though. I would try an ad on Craigslist or something of the sort.
