06 gremlens

I have a truck that i put a cab shell on but it was doing this before cause i tryed to start it before tearing into it. The headlamps don't have high beam the directional signals don't work the horn won't blow and most of all it won't crank over. The horn is wired ok cause I can make it blow with the Tech2. Along that note as well the tech2 says the key is not in the ignition with the key on. I'm thinking the ign sw may be my problem not recognizing the key. anybody got any thoughts?

The tech 2 may be right Jim. It sucks the chipped keys cost so much just to find out if it's the problem though.

Well Boog, the trucks don't have chips, that is one of the wierd thing but I'm thinking now it is the ignition switch cause it has a code that say power mode mismatch and that has to do either with the BCM or the ign sw. I think i'll get it soon I have a switch sitting on the tailgate from the other day looking and thinking but it was friday so I decided to wait to start the week off with a "fun one"

The IGN sw and multi switch fixed all of the problems

Re: 06 gremlens

Well good. I like how the multi switch is mounted on these. You no longer have to remove the wheel to replace that switch.
