custom 68 C10 stolen in OK

I may not care for the style of this truck but it pisses me off every time I hear of a classic being taken from it's owner. I know this site has recovered at least one stolen truck, it would be nice if someone has seen this thing somewhere. Link here....

Can't imagine why someone would take such an easily recognized vehicle. Easier to hide a stock car than a modified one.

Chances are that the truck was in 200 pieces within 5-6 hours after it was stolen, and I would not be surprised if most of the big ticket items (motor, trans, rear, interior) weren't sold off prior to the theft.

Probably going oversees pretty soon. It saddens me when these things happens, that someone puts a lot of sweat and money in a something and someone else just comes and snatch it. Chances are slim but I hope they catch the thieves.

Wow... I feel for the owner, BUT DAMN! There's NO WAY I would never NOT have insurance on something I spent 40 grand on... You can get policies through haggerty and grundy on classics while they're being worked on for like $100/year. There's just no excuse for not having it insured.

Since Bailiff moved back to Oklahoma, he planned to do some more work to the truck, so he didn't have it tagged or insured. He hopes it hasn't been dismantled or taken out of state.

Not everybody has a garage to keep their classic truck/vehicle tucked away in every night. Classic insurance companies require garaged storage....
More than likely, this guy did. But the 'classic' insurance suggestions only works for some.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
