New guy from Long Island

Just wanted to say hi. Been lurking for awhile enjoying the wealth of info onsite. Just tried becoming a supporting member but PayPal isn't cooperating for the funding source, I'll retry at home on the pc. Anyways here's what I'm working worth. 1967, longbed, 250, granny 3 on the tree. Pretty much all original except for the air bag kit from airbagit.com (tank, valves and compressor in the army footlocker) and the boat tank installed in the bed (the jerry can is the reserve! Lol), both from the previous owner.

Welcome to the forum.
Great bunch of guys here with a wealth of knowledge.
Just so you know it was the 4 speeds that were the granny tranny.
1st was good for about 3 miles per hour.

Re: New guy from Long Island

Yeah I know about the 4spd sm465, didn't know if 3 speeds had a granny option. Maybe it's just the rear gears in this truck (haven't checked yet but gotta be at least 4.10) that make 1st so short and feel like a granny gear. Either way it's kinda fun throwing that lever around, almost gonna miss it when I swap to 5 or 6 speed.
