Im wanting to see some SWB two tone paint jobs.
Im wanting to make a big order this coming week, but Im at a standstill untill I can come up with a color combo for my GMC. So far my favs are Big ALs , and a silver on white swb. Dont really want to do the same. I perfer images of truck with upper and lower trim/moulding, in nice color combos. I have already seen 100 orange/white images, so no need to post those. But anything with blk, red, whit, gray, silver, gray or anything not the normal colors you see. If you have images of custom two tone paint jobs (foose style and such) without trim/moulding thats fine Im not reall scared to go that direction if it really grabs me....
Thanks in advance! |

Re: Im wanting to see some SWB two tone paint jobs.
wow thanks guys!!! I really like alot of those, of couse my fav- Big Als truck. This is just hard for me everycar I have done in the past has been black. Its time for a change the all black look has gone on too long for me. The real problem is that I really want black and white houndstooth interior in this truck. And I think the black and white is just way cool but I dont want to have a copy of another truck. So Im might be going for what Big Als truck is but flip the colors. I would still like to see a white on light grey, a light grey on silver, and maybe a silver on white. But still thanks for what was posted all are great looking trucks....

Re: Im wanting to see some SWB two tone paint jobs.
What if you did a paint scheme like 72BlckButy's truck, white under the lower trim and roof and black everywhere else? Or is that too much black still?
I love black vehicles, but a black and white interior will go with any color.

Re: Im wanting to see some SWB two tone paint jobs.
I just read this write up in the Jan '10 issue of Truckin about renderingsfor your build and how it helps to put your vision down beforeyour build. Well I cant draw for poo, so I purchasedthis off ebay last night:
I like this color combo alot. Im thinking a brighter silver maybe.... Im going to try scuffing it up and tapeing the blk off and get some white model spray paint to see how it will look with white on black. Although I didnt purchase this one: Its my fav of Big Als, but got me thinking that I will spray my cab roof with the lighter color, either white or silcer insted of black like Big Al. Here in Texas that black roof would be way to hot..... |

Re: Im wanting to see some SWB two tone paint jobs.
Ahhhh - The Astor Column. My home town. I usually stop by there after grabbing a pizza from Fultano's (Best pizza in Oregon, if not the world) and check out the view. I hope they are done with the remodel of the stairs the next time I get up that way.
BTW - nice p/u - same color scheme as mine but a LWB. |
