Stock replacement front leaf springs?
Aside from LMC, any recommendations on a source for replacement front leaf springs for '71 GMC Jimmy? 2 leaf vs. 3 leaf?
Perhaps you have some used ones to sell? I am being forced to remove a 4" suspension lift put on by a previous owner so looking for stock springs and steering arm. thanks |

Re: Stock replacement front leaf springs?
Who is forcing you to remove a lift? Has "Uncle Obama" set loose the Car Czar?
I have what you would need. Unfortunately I'm in Sacramento, CA. Be careful with want-to-buy requests as they are only allowed for paid subscribers. Good Luck!

Re: Stock replacement front leaf springs?
You are not far off. The car czar has been enforcing in the District of Columbia long before Obama came to town. Very strict rules on bumper height in order for me to pass inspection in DC. have to put on scrawny tires as well, for day of inspection.
Thanks for the warning on WTB |

Re: Stock replacement front leaf springs?
Thanks for the tip on 6T727T2. Is this Harry in Jersey? Is there a better way to get in touch with him than the forum private message function? My wife and work parking garage roof are rushing me to get back on stock suspension soon...

Interesting scenario, really bites when we're told what our rides should be.
Harry's a good guy, he'll treat ya right. |
