edelbrock 1406 carb questions

the two adjustment screws in the front which does what? turning them left makes it run richer or leaner???

,The screws are idle air adjustment screws turn each one in (slowly)one at a tlme until the motor starts to stumble. then turn the screw out until the idle levels out & then adjust the other one. when motor runs as smooth as it can run , your idle circuit is set. give it a try, hope this helps...
