TPI Street & Performance

Hi Guys, I have a nice S&P TPI as complete as you can get it. This was on a street rod we built a few years back and it only has 1400 miles on it. I have the complete wire harness, distributor, and cam. The bolts are there for the intake and runners but have some surface rust from sitting. They will all be included so you can size them up for new or clean these. i do have some of the braided line also. It was swapped over to carburetor, because the customer felt he was more able stop at your local parts outlet and purchase parts if needed... these go for around 2600 to over 3 grand, were asking $1250.00 Please ask if there are other pictures you would like to see.
Paypal is the choice of payment, but will except others.

Re: TPI Street & Performance

Do you have to change the cam to go to this set up?

Re: TPI Street & Performance

Hi Burb , no this was an upgrade he made a few months later. I just figured I would offer it with the package. If memory serves me he started out with the stock cam offered in the 1990 Corvette. The computer also has a prom chip from Street & Performance, this cam here was'nt even real choppy but did have a mild noticeable idle to it, which he ran a stock converter with. I'm not a TPI guru but when we got it back from the speed shop we never ad to touch it other than he wanted the other cam....

Re: TPI Street & Performance

Thanks for the reply. This one of those things everyone thinks would be cool but is scared to try it for fear it won't work correctly and then they have to go back to a carb. I am looking at buying a motor for a project I am considering so buying this now is a little pre-mature for me. Maybe to help clarify for me and any others considering this can you tell us what year Chevy blocks this is for. I would assume for something like 1987 and older.

Thanks again!

Re: TPI Street & Performance

I was hoping this would sell over the weekend. Since it hasn't, I must ask:

MAF? Correct?

No EGR provision?

O2 sensor and harness?

PCV provision?

Does it include a fuel pump, regulator, tank?

It would eventually be going on my 68 with an old style 350 block with old style valve covers. Will it work with the brackets for my power steering pump and alternator?

I iwll pm you my phone number. Give me a call

Re: TPI Street & Performance

Its not as much a nightmare as one thinks. The system darn near plug and play. Street and Performance has a few videos on line with a fellow giving pointers. I was real tempted myself but went Big Block. I moved the harness around after the speed shop installed it but put the computer under the dash and left us no room for other accessories, and after I re-routed some of the components it still ran To some its a weekend venture but your first time around its definitely a time consumer and a head scratcher.

Re: TPI Street & Performance

Think this thing would be Ok on a 383? It is going into a truck, and TPIs are supposed to make good torque..

Re: TPI Street & Performance

It was on a 355 I think it would be better on a 383 ! ! I know it was a lot more crisp than the carb we put on, it's like night and day.
