It sucks not being able to hear!

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Angled Dashes

I've never seen one but it would be fairly easy to make a wedged shaped spacer to mount under your present dash.

Talking Re: Angled Dashes

I have thought about that. I'm just seeing what is out there first. That maybe what I try and see if it is what I want. I think a little angle to the guages would help a lot of people seeing them better. I know it would me.

Re: Angled Dashes

interesting idea, but I'd also be very concerned about angling it up and then inadvertently making the windshield glare off the plastic gauge faces a problem. But, of course, you could experiment to make sure that didn't happen before you started hacking.

I don't think I would angle it that much but yes that would have to be a factor in it also. I think the dash pad would keep the glare off the dash tough.

Re: Angled Dashes

autometer makes angle rings for both 2 1/16 and 2 5/8 gauges if you are using non stock gauges.

Re: Angled Dashes

Andy, you might pull the screws from the bezel and put 2-3 washers behnd the bottom with the screws put back in thru them.If it does what you want then an angled spacer shouldnt be hard to make.If it doesn't work, you only out the time and $1.00 worth of washers you can reuse.

Re: Angled Dashes

Go to a custom boat shop. Boat shops sell many different angled bezels. My 68 Chevelle has a full custom dash my buddy cut out on a lazer cutter. I had to buy these bezels because, the angle on a 68 Chevelle's dash slopes downward. I will see if I can upload a picture of it. Sorry if you really can't see anything. I'm working out of the country and can't get a better pictures. Also, since thus photo was taken i was able to get some *****in anodized blue billet cup holders from the boat guys too.
