Lifted duallies... need some pics please

Well im tossing around this idea for a parts hauler and wanted to get some ideas and need a few questions answered. So first id like to see what you guys have in lifted duallies. Searched and havent found much.

Next is, how hard is it to swap in a 6.2 or 6.5 into a truck that came with a gas motor? Is it just different motormounts? And what would be a good trans and transfer case to use with a modded diesel? I just want to make this thing damn near bullet proof.

Thanks,
John

Pretty badass trucks, but I always wondered something - with the tires so fat, how do they double them in the rear without making them touch on the sidewalls? Do they use spacers or something?

The medium duty front end on the red truck looks sweet.

Mine's not lifted, just added stiffer torsion bars on the front to level it out some.

You don't really think GM would use a different motor mount do you?
Even if said mounts are melted by diesel fuel? Nope.
tank filler and sending unit are different, and Hydroboost brakes is the way to go.
Radiator and support are larger on a diesel, and you need an extra battery.
Tailpipes may swap, but aren't much different.
An auto trans will need a diesel torque convertor and governor.
My TH400 wants another gear with stock tires and 3.73s, but the revlimiter lets me do about 100 if I can tolerate the noise.
465/205 is probably still you best bet for bulletproofness.
