Got Air Compressor ?'s Also

I just picked up a used air compressor that needs a little bit of work. I thought it was going to need a new pump because it was locked up but it appears it will just need a new connecting rod and the crank polished. Gonna be into it A LOT cheaper than buying a new one (even if I do have to buy a complete pump). The stats on it are 5hp/60 gallon;

SCFM

11.4 @ 40psi
9.0 @ 90psi
125psi Max

It's just for my home garage but will it be able to handle pretty much everything I need it to do? Basically just air tools, maybe a paint sprayer, a DA sander, and stuff like that?

Re: Got Air Compressor ?'s Also

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=423600 Here you go in post 12 I linked a couple of charts on sears and northern tool that list air requirements for common air tools.
That compressor will likely run a DA, but it's going to work the comp. pretty hard. If you can get it running cheap though I would do that and see if it meets your needs, if not you can sell it and upgrade later.
