Pic Request- Squares with low back buckets!

It seems that for some reason, I rarely get interior pics. I searched my files and couldn't locate what I wanted. I need some pics of 73-77 "factory" lowback buckets.

This is what I am looking for, anyone have any more?

Re: Pic Request- Squares with low back buckets!

Frank, I have several brochures showing them. I just wanted to see real world applications, as well as what the factory console looked like.

I have the seats that I stole from Jeff. I'm still trying to decide if I want a restored console, or mod a late model jump seat to look like a factory option.

Joe- That's exactly what I need to see. As usual, I have pics of Bigzz truck, but none of his interior.

Look on the 67-72 parts board . Too Much Stuff has some listed I think . Should be on one of the first 3-5 pages .

Wow! I didn't even know these existed. Are they more rare than the higher back rest buckets from the 80's?

I imagine they weren't too common in trucks, but were standard in Blazer/Jimmy. They were in the trucks until late 77 when they went to highbacks.

Re: Pic Request- Squares with low back buckets!

I saw this Truck back in November. It is a 1987 model but I still like the interior choice. Look at the door panels too. they were done nicely also. They were completely covered in matching material and still look stock other than the leather inserts around the door handle.

At this show Atlanta Super Chevy back in November I even scored a console just like the one in the picture for $20. No cracks or anything either!

I'm assuming these are out of a Jimmy/blazer but does anyone know what models years were they in and where would be the best place to find them?

Re: Pic Request- Squares with low back buckets!

Those are 77 and older lowbacks...found in Blazers, Burbs & trucks. The console could be found in the same vehicles that has buckets, 1980 and earlier.

Re: Pic Request- Squares with low back buckets!

Buddy buckets were used in the generation of trucks before ours...the center "console" folds up to hold 3 people, folds down to make an armrest. At least that is how I think they did it.

Re: Pic Request- Squares with low back buckets!

hmm.... I really like my bench, but I wonder what a set of those would look like in the 87 instead? Minus the console, of course...

Re: Pic Request- Squares with low back buckets!

These are the only two pics I have of the one I just picked up but I will get more soon . I will tell you this , they offer more legroom over the stock 73-80 bench seat .
