16 or 20 gallon tanks ?

The truck is a long bed and I've always assumed that it had a 20 gallon tank, but with the gauge hovering around an 1/8 of a tank, I can only get about 15 gallons in there. I know some long beds did come with 16 gallon tanks, so I was wondering if anyone knew the dimensional differences between the tanks. I know I need new sending units, but I'd like to know for sure which tanks I have.

the only differences in the tank size according the LMC catalog is that the 16 gallon tank is 42 1/4 inches long and the 20 gallon is 56 inches long.

Sending unit is the same regardless of the size of the saddle tank.

Re: 16 or 20 gallon tanks ?

Thanks guys. I haven't measured but I'm thinking that I have 20 gallon tanks because they come all the way back to the leaf spring hangers.
