how do I take off door?

I bought a power windows, locks door from a gentleman over the phone and I have to go get it. I have never pulled one off before. How do I get the door off without cutting the wires. Which end do they unplug? Any special tricks you know of. Door is coming off of 1987 suburban and it is the rear door. Thanks for the help in advance guys.

To take off the door, it should be pretty simple, 6 bolts and its off. 3 on the top hinge and 3 on the bottom. As for the wiring, I have no clue, never delt with power windows or locks.

I would pull the trim panel, and unplug the lock motor and window motor, then remove the bolts. go back and trace teh wiring in the cab, and unplug it there.

And you will really enjoy getting to them to unplug them! I am especially fond of unplugging the drivers side!
