Phantom Billet Grille Q?
Ok I am going to install a phantom billet grille on my 69. I know how to install the grille, it is the hood latch that is the problem. Has anyone installed one on a 67-72, and what did yall do about that latch? I don't wanna notch the grille. I heard a long time ago that someone made an extention down below the front bumper to open it. Any help would be appreciated. Any pics would be great as well. Thanks in advance.

Re: Phantom Billet Grille Q?
I did that exact thing on my '67. I don't have pictures with me at work, I can post some this evening. All I did was hook a rod to the hole in the hood latch handle and drop it strait thru the filler panel below the grill with a T handle right behind the license plate that you just push up on,

Re: Phantom Billet Grille Q?
Here are the pictures of the one I made for zero cost with stuff I had at the shop. The spring at the top and the grommet at the bottom are to prevent any rattles.
