Power assist steering to full power

I have a 1967C 20 with power assist steering, I need to fix it so I will stop leaking. Can I make this a full power steering with a box from a later vehicle?

Yes you can. Lots of stuff on here that shows a few ways to mount a newer ps box onto a 67 frame. You can use spacers or dimple your frame. The bolt pattern will mount up. Where is the assist leaking? Does it work ok?

Re: Power assist steering to full power

I’ve read here that there are rebuilding kits from corvette and impalas that work on the power assist rams. I think it may be better overall to change it to a power steering box from a later year.I had power assist on my 67 Mustang convertible and it was always leaking and never stopped leaking even after rebuilding.
