WTB: Single Painted Hubcaps

I want some single painted hubcaps for wall art. They don't have to be rea pretty, just not real bent up. Caps with character is fine. I already have some and am looking for the full variety between 67/68 & 69-72,white & silver,1/2t & 3/4t,and Chevy/GMC. What I need are these 3:
Edited:
-67/68 GMC silver 1/2t and/or 3/4t(clip-type)

-69 Chevy silver 1/2t and/or 3/4t

-69 GMC silver 1/2t

I have 9:
67/68 type GMC white 3/4t,Chevy silver 1/2t,Chevy white 1/2t

69-72 type GMC silver 3/4t,GMC white 3/4t,Chevy silver 3/4t,Chevy white 3/4t,GMC white 1/2t,and Chevy white 1/2t

If you have any of these to sell, let me know how much...or maybe we can trade for some other part(s)

Re: WTB: Single Painted Hubcaps

You guys crack me up! This is exterior art,not something for dead center over my couch like the 5' x 10' velvet Elvis behind the couch

Here's what I have going on...

...except I just added a sliver '69 GMC 8-lug and a white 70-72 GMC 1/2t to the left that I bought last summer from a GMC and tractor dealership that closed. I'm on a roll now. I figured out how the get them to clip on over 3 nails heads just like on the wheels. Got tired of them blowin' off. My dang neighbor already flattened a '55 Chevy car wheel cover that blew over in his driveway...nice guy, huh? Just lazy if not downright ignorant . No chrome on this wall. Strictly rustic and old timey-like. I got 4 1/2t '67 GMCs (silver) but I need them rare thangs.

Re: WTB: Single Painted Hubcaps

special-K, I've got several singles...GMC, Chevy, 1/2, 3/4, let me see. I don't think my GMC are worth anything but shipping but some of the others are very nice. I have them in several places and am going in for an MRI on my lower lumbar...not very mobile at the moment...so you might have to give me some time on this.

Re: WTB: Single Painted Hubcaps

I'm in no hurry. Take care of that back. I am casually collecting here. I just ended up with these laying around, decided to hang them, then found more. The two not shown yet I got from the dealership are actually N.O.S! They have shelf wear and I'd rather hang them up than have people beat me up over rub marks, etc. I got them cheap enough anyway. I also got an assortment of chrome/stainless ones I'm not hanging. I hope your back starts feeling better.

Re: WTB: Single Painted Hubcaps

I think that one is dented on the far side,so not so great.

I'd really like to find a '69 silver 3/4t or Chevy/GMC 1/2t. Also a white 67/68 Chevy 1/2 or 3/4t.

Re: WTB: Single Painted Hubcaps

Hi Tim, here is the rare Corvette gold edition and the even rarer latex house paint model! All kidding aside, I think the house paint model will clean up to a nice cap with a little pressure washing and maybe some acetone. If you are interested PM your address and I'll send it your way. Sharpie

Now we know where all the hubcaps are! No wonder people only have 3 to sell. One's up on the wall as a decoration.

The last guy who asked couldn't leave it at that and had to steal a peak. He's been missing ever since and I swear I have no idea about what happened to him. Strange coincidence, though, don't ya think?

Ok,I've narrowed the search down and really need some help on what remains to be be added here. I still need silver '69 1/2t Chevy & GMCs and a 67/68 GMC 1/2 or 3/4t silver. Since 1/2t & 3/4t caps appear the same from the front,I'm not worried about one of each. I have all 4 varieties of 69-72 3/4t,so that's all I have complete. Can anyone help me out? I want to paint that white 67/68 someone redid with yellow. If I get this done I'll probably start going back in years. Seems only natural...

No 4wds got hubcaps till '69. You can take the 67/68 style and cut the holes. But,with 3/4t it's tricky because those are still inner clip style. So,you either have to go with the original wheels or have some made using original centers,if you want wider or 16" non-split rim.

I really woudn't care if they were '73+,but I did find all the 69-72 8-lug caps. Just need the silver '69 Chevy & GMC 1/2t and the silver 67/68 GMC 1/2 or 3/4t (they look the same from the front).
