Question Zero rate add-a-leafs??

Not sure what exactly is a zero rate add-a-leaf. Would this cure my problem of my rear tire on my 4x4 being closer to the front of the wheel well than the rear?

Zero-rate is a fancy name for a block,IMO.Zero-rate spring?That`s a spring that doesn`t do anything for your suspension,just sits between the axle and spring.That`s a block in my book.I`m not bashing them.All it says to me is a small block (like an inch) is ok as long as it`s longer and kept stable from shifting.Blocks up front are taboo,so just call it a zero-rate spring.

They call it a zero rate add-a-leaf, because you take out the center pin of your leaf spring pack, add this piece, and bolt the leafspring pack together. It can't (?) blow out like a lift block might on the front axle.
And yes, it will help move your axle back in the wheel well opening. It has (3) holes, centered, 1" & 1-1/2" offset, IIRC.

depends on your U-bolts but you might also need the top plate that has multiple holes for the center pin as well. I bought new leaf perches for my axle which has the other holes, so I might move mine back as well.

Thanks guys for all the info. Just ordered some of the zero rate blocks/leaves for m Offroad Design. Hopefully they will work.
