Engine Bay Paint?

I am preparing my engine bay for my new motor. I want to know what is a good paint that will adhere to my firewall without peeling from the heat. I am planning on going with a flat black. Or gloss if someone tells me it would be better.

Help?

i've had good luck with plain old rust oleum paint, just make sure you scuff the firewall first so the paint has a good surface to stick to.

You won't have any peeling problems from heat in that area unless it's not prepped correctly. I've had good luck with Krylon if you want to go rattle can. If you really want durability, use an auto paint that you mix and shoot with a gun. I did mine in blue to match the body color but you can buy the blacks that you mentioned too.
