new to the sight and 70's c-10

New to the site and 70's c10's. Have ben wanting to buy one forever but coulnt find swb that wasnt out of the price I wanted to pay. But just picked up a 70 swb stepside in decent shape with a brand new motor and tranny in it got a hell of a deal at $850 . And have a broken foot and its killing me I cant work or have not even drove this thing yet. But the plans or fix the stuff somone has tryed to. Change the hood to a cowl hood, converts to a 72 front meaning grill and bumper, lowering it,and painting it flat black. And as you guys now change way more stuff then you ever thought. Will post pic of it as soon as I take one.

welcome to the forums! I know I speak for most ppl on here when I say... we are looking forward to the photos.
As a fellow rustbelt member, how bad is the rust on it? With a new engine and tranny it sounds like you got it for a song... and that's not even getting to the SWB part.

Re: new to the sight and 70's c-10

Well its not got much rust at all rocker has a little just starting cab corner have ben replaced floor are super clean. The bed has one small pin hole on driver side wheel well. Under truck is real clean that I have found so far and my dad thought the same. Some one in put a tear drop hood scoop on it had to be in the 80's and cut the hole under hood out and put some crazy looking grill in it. I did find one small dent in the front fender where the grille would mount today. I guy emailed me about some parts told me about this site and and the wifes about ready to kill me becouse I have ben on here looking at ever thing love this site.
