So yesterday as I was sleeping off a hangover a buddy of mine calls and says theres 3 67s and a 71 in the South u pull yard in Omaha. So I drug my butt outta bed and pointed my old Dodge towards Omaha to see what the deal was, i was pleasanty surpised at the mount of good parts on em yet. Yesterday I grabbed a couple 67 glove boxdoors, 67 guage cluster, a radiator some nice turn signal lenses, a couple choke cables, a heater control and some other odds and ends, then today I went back and got a nice grille, a decent bumper, a perfect 67 drivers fender, a carb and linkage, and a rear tail light harness and some more odds and ends.

Should've grabbed them west coast mirrors. They're worth a buck each set on ebay.

Are you talking about the ones on the red truck? I saw a set like that on a 64 at the junk yard last week. They said they were made in LongBeach California, I believe.

Are they a pretty universal fit? Maybe I'll buy them and see if I can resell them

I think the ones on the red are universal the other set I think are not so much. If you were to get the green set how much?

I can make another trip up there to scavenge a little more. Don't have to twist my arm to hard to go to a junk yard.

How come everyone else always gets all the good deals, I hardly ever see those trucks in my neck of the woods. They use to be a dime a dozen a few years back. Now that I'm looking for parts, they're non-existent. Too bad all those real trucks will be heading back as flimsy throw away cars.

These are hardly ever in our u pull yards, that's why I was so surprised that there were 3 67 in one yard at the same time. When you do see em they are either severely thrashed or there"s not really any good usable parts on em
