here is the distributer, need to be cleaned up a lil bit. also throw in a brand new HEI wires those cost 25 bucks. as u will need a new cap and rotori may even have the coil pack i'll try to find, can't promise.

Mark, can you post a pic of the 454 a/c compressor? Do you have the brackets, and is it driver or passenger side mounted? Also the 454 emission intake, pic please!

Talking a/c and 454 intake

the a/c comp.is driver side mount that is the bracketry i have ,and the intake just as i pulled them off both need to be cleaned and painted mark... p.s i looked for the dist. cap i did not see it.

well the one off the 454 was on the truck when i bought it to make the 496 it came off that 454 intake pictured above. the water pump launched on it so did not hear it run.. but should be
ok . but my want to rebuild anyway kit cost about 12.00...
the other one same off that 350 intake out of a 1 ton van
that one i did hear running but both have been sitting in my heated garage for a year orso . i did rob the a/c kick-up off the 454 carb sorry..
the van was a 86 and the 454 was a 79 hope that answers your
questions MARK ...stop on by..

what trans?

well i though it was a350 but later came to find out it was not ...
heace the 350 rebuild kit guess what i am saying is i dont know
my buddy sold it (the trans) it was not a 700r or a 400 it was out
of my 85 c-10 did'nt they make some lock-up trans now you got
me going i can't remember what he said it was... but i hope you can use it stop on by....MARK

yea that sounds about right ,,,the guy that bought it had a700r
and had to move the crossmember alittle got to love chevys...
but used the same driveshaft....mark
