It's an after market switch, follow the wire and you found the accessories at the end!

Re: What is this switch for??
had one in the exact location in my 69. went to a foot well light mounted on the same screw/nut as the choke slide.
yep, follow it. could be anything. think of the possibilities..... could be a treasure chest at the end. or maybe not. |

Re: What is this switch for??
I had one like that on a truck that switched the gauge for the aux gas tank. The valve on the floor just changes the fuel flow. Could be the same kind of setup.

Buffer amplifier?? If you have one, I have been looking for it ever since I learned to use a floor buffer in the USAF. Hoping that device helps the floors look better.

Re: What is this switch for??
dang! I was gonna say floor safe.
Great Minds think Alike! It's a common place, becouse there is a stock hole there that does nothing, and the toggle fits right in there. Last edited by Longhorn Man; 10-17-2007 at 08:46 PM. |

On Some Of These Trucks, People Installed The Toggle Switch To Operate Thier Back Up Lights. That May Be What It Is Or Was For!

Re: What is this switch for??
That's where I have my fuel pump switch located. Once I get the pump wiring worked out, I'll be using it for my bumper fogs.
