Anyone know Jeff Kanupp?

Even though the aspect ratio on the photo is wrong, this is the most beautiful truck I've found (of course, to each their own). It's owned by Jeff Kanupp. [It won a Goodguys show, so I'm not betraying any secret info, but I'll omit the state]

I could be wrong but that looks like The Lowes Motor Speedway in Concorde, N.C.

Re: Anyone know Jeff Kanupp?

yes, love the truck! Sorry, don't know the man himself though. Wheels actually work nicely on that GMC, compared to some of the other giant gaudy ones that seem to pop up these days.
Would love to see some more photos of it!

Re: Anyone know Jeff Kanupp?

Anyone know if its a 71 or 72? I'm not sure how to spot the difference.

This truck shall serve as my inspiration! I'd go with Corvette rallys and maybe top lights, but otherwise its close to perfect in my eyes!

I wonder why? :-)

Do you think that's the same color as yours? If so, is that Mariner Blue or Hawaiian Blue? And does it match up to any Camaro colors, like Glacier Blue, etc?

So many blues, so little time.

The grill is the 69/70 style.

Edit:
The truck is reported to be a 72 though.
Here is a blurb from teh Goodguys website: Jeff Kanupp from Hickory, NC, took home a well-deserved award for his meticulous resto-rod '72 GMC Sierra Grande. It was fully restored piece by piece until it was better than new and features a 350/350, factory discs, tilt, A/C, two-tone paint, full trim, and deluxe blue houndstooth interior. The only stock deviation is the 18-inch Coddington Magneto wheels which give the truck a modern classic look.

Now that you mention it, it does remind me of a certain truck.
That truck looks like the Hawaiian blue to me, my truck is the medium blue, just faded closer to the Hawaiian blue.
