Canada need a single 67 soft ray vent window just the glass

does anyone have just the glass, not the whole frame, in good shape for a 67 truck with soft ray. just bought a truck but the driver was traded out for a 68-72. Rod.

let me check tomorrow...I have one or two 67 specifics...haven't ever paid attention to the glass...I know the handle is different but is the glass really different? isn't it side specific?

Last Paladin has some soft ray glass. Check with him

i need driver side but would take both sides if i had to. the only difference is how the stamp reads on the glass. a passenger side window would read backwords on the driver side. the 68-72 wondows have a hole in them for the latch and the 67 only windows are solid. heres a pic of the passenger one i have for reference.

what about the glass makes it 67? I have several "parts" vent windows I'd be happy to sell the glass out of...is the handle hole different?

above is a 68-72 vent. you can see where the chrome knob is on the glass. there is a hole there for the latch and you can see on the 67 frame below there is no knob and the glass is solid with no hole. the latch is attached to the frame on 67's.

i just cleaned my vent glass and i noticed it has a deep scratch in it. shocker since the glass is only 40+ years old lol. i am now in the market for a pair if you have but a single will still be good of either side as i may still have to use this one Rod.

I know I have one...will check tomorrow and see what all I have....and I always assumed that there was a hole in the glass also on the 67's...heard people say the only difference was the handle

if they are green factory tinted and not scratcheds up too bad i will take them. not looking for perfection just a very nice driver. Would you take them out of the frames for me or do i need to buy the whole frame? Rod.

Rod, I can't tell if they are tinted, and the truck itself is green. I was able to make out "safety Flo-lite" on the panes if that helps. Greg

the first pic is a stamp without tint for 67 and the bottom one is with tint. if the stamp looks like the bottom one its tinted. also if the truck has Air it will have tinted windows as all Air trucks have it as part of the a/c package. Rod.

Date code looks to be 26-66 not aj definitely.

Only one though. My 67 doors also have one later style vent in them. Hopefully lynnfield's pair works and has the right date code.
