Hard Lines
More specific brake lines. I have noticed in the various builds and projects that some replace all or some of there lines. I have my project down to a clean roller and for the first time got a chance to really inspect my lines and they appear to be in good shape. My original budget I hade planned on buying a new set of lines but not so sure I need them…Or do I?? Not completely knowledgeable on this subject. Is there a life expectancy on lines? You opinions would be appreciated

Re: Hard Lines
Keep in mind that the brake lines are just as likely to rust from the inside out. They may look great until moments before the pinhole appears.
If you're that far into it, I'd spend the $$ to replace 'em all. One less thing to mess with later.

Re: Hard Lines
You've got the frame bare, the truck has been around for 40 years, your loved ones will be riding in it,the truck will probably be around another 40 + years, the brake lines are a safety item.......What was the question?
