Re: 1973 Cheyenne Super 10

Was trying to maybe find some emblems for my truck and came across yours..VERY NICE truck..Probably one of the nicest I've seen with original paint.
Mine is not original paint, but I still like it..Had it since 1976..It's a factory 454 stepside[IMG][/IMG]

That is a nice pickup! I saw it on Purple Wave when it was up for sale and saved a few of the engine pictures they had posted. You did well!!

I am truly jealous, i live near an old folk community(ies) within walking distances of both, there are 2 cherry pre 80trucks floating around that are close to that shape, i need to make friends with those folks before its too late, i ask one of those gents how much to take it off of his hands and he just told me to keep in touch.. haha

Wow! Its been a while since I have been on the board while on the PC. I check in from my phone pretty often but it is not as easy to browse around. That being said this is the first I have seen of this thread. Frank, that is another amazing truck you got this time. You & your trucks never fail to amaze me. Great find!

I looked it over and I am sure it is original paint and all interior is original . It has flaws but they are expected in a 35 year old truck . Here you go . These first pics were taken on the southern edge of Oklahoma . Beautiful scenery for a few miles .

Man, I love that truck! I've had a few of those pics saved on my screen saver and when my 3 year old sees it she goes, Daddy! its your Blazer! haha here's why she makes the association..

That thing is gorgeous. A true survivor. I love the color scheme, and the interior is perfect.

Wow that is a nice truck.!!!
Congratulations great find.i have a question iam working on a all original 73 Cheyenne super not as nice as yours but I just realized that it doesn't have a drip rail on the roof and I love it like that. Yours dosent seem to have one on it . Is it because they are supers or all 1973 .

1973 didn't offer drip rails. The need raised after a few customers opened their doors in the rain and they became available in 74. Not all 74's have them but I fairly confident they became somewhat standard issue by late 74 and 75.

Re: 1973 Cheyenne Super 10

Wow that's so weird since 67-72 had drip rails. Anyway I love it. I think it looks so much better without drip rails in Cali we don't really need them anyway.
