1972 Chevy Crewcab, Longhorn, Stepside, Dually!

Hey guys so i posted a few pictures of this truck a little ways back on the K20/K30 Only Thread, but here are some better ones.

This is my Father-in-Law's truck he custom built, it is a 1972 Chevy Crew Cab, Longhorn, Step-side, Dually. It has a 454 big block with a NV4500 5 speed manual transmission 205 Transfer case and Dana 60 axels front and back with 373 gears.

Enjoy.

Yes, wow. Nicely done. Nice finishing touch with the step in front of the rear fender. I always thought the duallys with that fender alone didn't look right. But that whole truck is a fine example.

Ho-ly Cr-ap...

That has to officially be the longest 67-72 ever? I don't think Coach or anyone ever made a CC out of a longhorn?

Beautiful work! It takes serious skill to build something like that.

Re: 1972 Chevy Crewcab, Longhorn, Stepside, Dually!

Is there a build thread for this truck? I absolutely love it, the crew cab, the dual wheels, the hood, the step-side, and a longhorn to boot!. The only change I would make would be a Duramax Deisel with Allison trans, but that's just my opinion.I could definitely enjoy cruising the county in that beauty, with a big a** 5th wheel camper in tow behind. Wifey ridin by my side (thanks in part to the bench seat), and the dog on the backseat. "Sorry" was I dreaming out loud again?
