Tim, I believe that is something else parked behind it, like a trailer or something as you have mentioned. I believe that is the 5th wheel right above the fuel tank. It looks like it is angled back, but I could be wrong. Have you checked out the link that Devin provided?

Re: GM Semis

Tim and Bill-------The Cole crackerbox tanker definitely had a 5th wheel. Our youngest daughter lived in Bangor about 20 years ago, so I got to the Cole museum twice . And the steer axles on Hendrickson walking beams has gotta be rough . I have my own pictures somewhere, plus I have the book on Cole history .

Re: GM Semis

Special K I think i own the twin to that green C-60 you posted pics of. well close anyway, mine has a 427 ( and the hood vents and badges to prove it ) mine is a HEAVY c-60 11k front axle air brakes glad hands trolley brake lever, mine even has an air ride driver seat with a split bench, dayton wheels dual trumpet ait horns. it had a split block ( freeze) when I got it, but I have a factory new short block to go back in it..... no fifth wheel on it currently but if you ever decide you need a heavy 60 give me a call, we might be able to work something out ;-)

Re: GM Semis

That's a real bells & whistles C/60 you have there. Someone had pride in their ride when they ordered that one.

Here's one with a low-boy:

WOA! If that truck is headed to PA that could be my Dad's '67 Impala on the front. Sure as heck looks like its Royal Plum to me.

Cool picture.

I like the Chevy Badges too, but they are on a GMC truck. At least it's all GM though. I once saw an International franchise put IH Emblems on a Chevy truck!!
