wiring harness matchup!

hey guys. i got a new wireing harness out of a junk truck and wired up the engine bay, but the truck i got the motor harness out of the under dash was all cut up and junk. there is a saburban right next to it that has a good dash and good under dash harness but it is a tbi model and my truck is a carbed model. so my question is will the harness for under the dash be the same for both trucks or do i need to fine one out of a truck like what i have? my truck also has the power windows and stuff so idk if that effects anything.

thanks, Dalton

Re: wireing harness matchup!

You can uae the harness from the TBI truck, you just have to cap off the wires for the ecm and fuel pump. I suggest keeping them installed incase you decide to use them for an add on in the future. Any fuse block should have a place to plug in your windows and locks. My truck came without them and i just installed a factory set up and it plugged in and worked fine.

Re: wiring harness matchup!

I mentioned before to cap the wires, but pulling the fuses will yeild the same result. the point is to not have live wires floating around
