71 C10 2wd Center Bore
Can someone confirm the correct center bore for my truck? I thought it was 77.8mm. Tried a 1/8” spacer with 3.060 hole and it was too tight. Called Discount Tire and they’re telling me it’s 78.1mm. Maybe I should just solve my issue by tubbing the rear! Thanks!

An 1/8 inch spacer doesn’t need to be hub centric.
Can be a little loose. You guys need to learn metric. |

What's metric? All my measuring devices are inches.

Re: 71 C10 2wd Center Bore
Went and got a new battery for my digital calipers. Apparently my hub is not very cylindrical. I got readings anywhere from 77.4 to 78.04. I suppose I should error on the large size and go with a 78.1, if I can even find one.

I didn't think these were hubcentric. I learn something new every day.

Re: 71 C10 2wd Center Bore
I just put on new 20incher AR's and needed no spacer. the hub hole for the wheel was 3.083 or 78.30mm
i just cleaned up the hubs with a paper flapper wheel before i tried to measure them measure the inside of your brake drum center hole if that fits then the bore needs to be close to that.

Re: 71 C10 2wd Center Bore
Thanks. Wheels and tires fit great with the static drop. With the conversion to trailing arms and bags I get minor rubbing on the inside left rear wheel well when taking left hand corners. Figured I’d try this route before having the wells tubbed

i have not gotten mine on the road yet. I went with a 275/55 -20 with stock height all the way around and hopefully i will not have any problems in the front
