Nice truck. That tach in the center of the gauges is neat. I haven't seen one like that before.

Wow, that truck is beautiful!!
If you look at the detailed explanation of the parts, they spared no expense. It's definitely a big-dollar truck. There's just one area in the explanation that I question: NO body filler. I know that guys like to advertise that, but it's impossible to get a 60 year truck that straight without it. There's nothing wrong with using filler if it's used correctly. I know a guy who does high-end cars (Duesenbergs, gull-wing Mercedes, vintage Porsches) and he said that you cannot get a car straight unless you skim-coat the entire car and block-sand it for a few months. There's hardly any filler left when you're done blocking, but it's necessary to get the little waves out of the panels. If you completely metal-finished a car, it would be so thin in spots that it would have no surface strength. No painter is going to let his high-end paint job be compromised by that. Love the truck, though. Possibly one of the nicest ADs I have ever seen.

Nice! I like the modisty panel under the dash. that is the first one that I have seen that dosent look like an after thought.

That is one nice truck all the way around. Nothing out of place and no frufru added just because they thought they needed something all the cool guys have.
I like the no pinstripe no paint accent look too as that is usually the first thing that really makes a truck look dated when it gets three or four years old. The photos are worth saving to your "reference" album so you might be able to answer a question later in your own build, I'm saving them in mine. |
