Around here I think that would've been scrapped a long time ago lol For being in Texas that looks pretty bad though unless it's from near the ocean or salt state.

Looks rough, but I've seen far worse trucks brought back from the dead. For $600 thats a steal.

Re: Picked up a new Parts truck 71 Blazer

Nice score. FYI, as far as I am aware factory sway bars weren't offered until the square body trucks although lots of people add them to this generation with a few mods.
Post a picture of the spid for interest sake.

Re: Picked up a new Parts truck 71 Blazer

I doubt that front sway bar is factory from this truck, like tjsblazer said, it's probably from a '73-up truck. Also, if it's a '71, I don't think its a highlander, but just has the back seat out of one because they didn't make them until '72. But for $600, you got a great deal, way more in parts than that!

I'm jealous you guys find these $600 parts rigs. Up north here they are too much $ or long gone to dust.

Hey Paul. What size are those Steelies ?

Put some shoes on it so neighbors would not complain. I like the stock ride height.
I will remove the lift from my build to look like this.

Re: Picked up a new Parts truck 71 Blazer

Just so you know when you are finished with your build the truck guys will buy the front seat channel under the floor board. A sawzall and 15 minutes and you will make 60 to 80 depending on condition. PM me if you need more info.

The front seats appear to be second gen Camaro. They sell pretty easy.
