Currently the filler cap is behind the liscense plate and i am looking to move it to inside the bed. If anyone knows what is needed for the conversion please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Is it not filling well behind the plate? I haven't ever seen anyone put it there before. Post some pics of what you're running now.

well i cant post pictures as my digital camera has been sent for fixing. But yeah you just flip down the liscense plate and screw off the gas cap. I want the gas cap in my bed as i have seen in numerous trucks in classic trucks magazine.

i had this setup here and gas would not flow into the tank, because it had to go uphill slightly, to get over the frame.. i ended up moving it to a higher spot on the wheelwell but i'm looking for a better way to do it. i can't imagine the gas flowing from the lower spot of the license plate into the tank.

I thought about behind the plate (like a late 70's Camaro), but I have my air tank there, so that wouldn't work.

I am really just looking for the parts to make it like the picture i had. I think i need a neck and a cap??? Where can i get those?

CPP has a flip door with a neck built into it. I am thinking it looks easy for my skills (none)....

The piece of plywood hides the hole in the bed from the fifth wheel the Po had installed that I plan to fix.

heres mine....... i had to relocate it to the back side of the wheel well since it wouldnt fill uphill

the last two pics are of a filler i have for sale. couldnt use it since it was to long.

I put mine into the back of the wheel tub. I used exhaust pipe to run from the filler neck down and out of the wheel tub, then used rubber tubing from there across the frame rail, and into the tank.

While I doubt I'd have problems with rocks going through the pipe, or rubbing if I loaded the truck up, it really doesn't look all that great from under the wheel well, and chances are the inspections dude is gonna fail me on it if I leave it that way.

I'd like to do something similar to what matthuffham did, except use the little box he made as a place to run the hose between the two box side skins, and have the filler door on the inside wall of the box. Then it is out of the way, and doesn't run the risk of being hit by anything, or getting failed by the inspection guy.

i did the side marker fill on mine. i don't know why anybody would want it in the box floor, but then again i use my truck for a truck but still can't see draging the hose over the paint or opening the tailgate to fuel the truck. but this is just my opinion i'm sure others have their reasons for doing it other ways
